@@Water_elemental33 yes it was 14
You can tell what missions you've completed by the color of their nodes on the starmap. Missions you've already done show up as a white dot, missions that are you've unlocked but have not done are flashing blue dots, and locked missions are black. You do not have to complete all of the missions on a planet to progress through the starmap, you only have to do the requirements for each junction, but whether you do complete a planet is up to you. Keep in mind that certain missions on some planets are locked behind quests that may require other planets to unlock. This includes the mission that gives Hydriod parts on Earth, Oro. I feel like this may be a bit late considering the time of the video, but the Fortuna entry quest will be quite difficult at your level. The Corpus enemies that is features are unique variants of the ones in the normal starmap missions. These ones do more damage, have more health, and are loaded with knockdowns, stuns, and debuffs. Also, the 'mobility option' that Fortuna gives is only available in open-world missions such as Fortuna's Orb Valis or Cetus's Plains of Eidolon. You can't use them in normal starmap missions.
Keep in mind this video was recorded roughly about a month ago and was made before I really digged into what my plans were. I took the advice of clearing missions based on my level and slowly working on prepping to unlock my mobility thing so I didn’t have to run on Cetus when I farmed
@@Water_elemental33 👌
In the previous two(three?) Tennocons, the devs have shown off content that they would release later in the year. I think Tennocon 2017 was Cetus and the Plains of Eidolon, but I don't remember. This expansion was quite nice. In Tennocon 2018, they showed us the Fortuna expansion for Venus. Fortuna was enjoyable. In Tennocon 2019, they showed us Kuva Liches and Railjack, but unfortunately the liches that were released were underwhelming and inconsistent with the ones shown at Tennocon and Railjack was riddled with bugs. Recent updates have fixed most Railjack bugs and made the liches less bad, but regardless, the content from fall of 2019 was sortof a let down compared to its Tennocon. On a side note, Tennocons and Devstreams contain content that can spoil some of the quests, so I guess watch them at your own risk. The secret caches in those missions aren't worth the time needed to find them. Their drop tables contain mostly easily obtainable items, and the extremely few times that the drop tables do contain something worthwhile, the drop rates for it are abysmal. You can know when one is nearby when there is a high-pitched tone, 16:13 The recent expansion from last week introduced the Scarlet Spear Operation event. This content is mostly tailored towards mid- to endgame players and features an enemy faction that is introduced halfway through the quest line. I don't know why they gave everyone access to it; the newer players can barely damage the enemies in those missions. The event offers two weapon blueprints that you won't be able to use yet, and also a selection of arcanes. Arcanes (fortunately, these aren't spoilers) are potentially extremely powerful upgrades for warframes, and are capable of enhancing survivability of a warframe substantially or provide a boon when its activation conditions are met. Most arcanes are pretty useless, some are fun to use, while a select few are very potent. Arcanes with the "Arcane" prefix are equipped on warframes, and these are the ones available through the event. There are other arcane categories equipable on other types of equipment, but you won't be able to use them yet. Now, the event has given players an opportunity. Platinum prices for the more useful arcanes were relatively high in trade chat, for various reasons. However, the event allowed us to easily farm these arcanes, which will significantly lower their prices for the duration of the event and some time after. Because the event will only last about a month, with the devs considering extending its duration, I just wanted to make you aware of this opportunity. The missions may be too high level for you, but you can buy the arcanes off of another player from trade chat for a lower platinum cost than the norm. An arcane has multiple ranks starting at rank 0, each rank achieved by fusing arcanes of the same type together, which increases its effect potency. You need 21 arcanes to fuse together to create a max-rank arcane. If you do decide to buy them, keep in mind that the prices listed are for the "unranked", aka "rank 0", aka "r0", arcanes unless specified otherwise. Some of the more useful arcanes: Arcane Guardian, Arcane Avenger, Arcane Grace, Arcane Energize, Arcane Victory. Guardian is a defensive arcane that provides high damage reduction through increasing the armor stat (around -75% damage taken when the arcane is maxed). Avenger is an offensive arcane that provides increased critical chance for all weapons (crit is good). Grace is a percentage health regeneration when your warframe takes damage. Victory is a percentage health regeneration when you perform a headshot kill. Currently, only Guardian is available in the event, so the other three may still have high sell prices for the time being.
Credit goes to user Random Numbers for all of the helpful comments during the anniversary uploads. Tons of great info from them! Thanks :D
You won't be able to build the warframe you get from Cetus Bounties. The bounties give the blueprints for the warframe's components, but the main blueprint for the warframe itself is locked behind a quest called Mask of the Revenant. The early-game warframes that you will be able to build are farmable through assassination missions. Each planet will have one assassinate mission, and the boss for each mission will randomly drop one out of three components for their specific warframe. For example, the Jackal on Venus will either drop a Rhino Neuroptics, Chassi, or System blueprint upon your defeating it. The Rhino warframe blueprint will require all three components to be built in order to be constructed. This is the case for all of the planets, each of them having a different boss that drops the component blueprints for a different warframe. I don't know if you noticed, but you got a melee mod called Condition Overload in your first game. This mod is incredibly rare and also incredibly powerful, as it is capable of increasing a melee weapon's damage by many times over. Many a souls have been farming this mod for hours upon end, but you were lucky enough for it to have dropped so quick lmao. It also sells for around 50-60 platinum in trade chat. Unfortunately your defense target was a melee dude with no shields. He doesn't realize that he has to be protected, and all he wants is to bash heads with his sick hammer. Consider sending me an invite next time you see me online :)
Thank you for the breakdown on the the warframe crafting drops. I got my info based on the wiki and where to find the parts and it told me to farm bounties which off camera did drop some parts so it was kinda right. I did also notice the upgrade and equip it right after my third failure, I did not know how rare it is and I feel bad for having it drop without even a cheer or reaction to it haha
Unfortunately, mod is only worthwhile if you have a way to consistently apply a variety of status effects onto enemies, something that's very hard to accomplish in early-game. To properly explain how the mod benefits you, I'd have to go in-depth into how Status Effects are applied and the intricacies of Condition Overload, and most of it is going to be useless information for the moment. You're better off using Pressure Point and elemental damage mods for now as the conditions for triggering the Condition Overload bonuses are inconsistent in early-game.
I figured it would not be effective for any of the frames I currently have. I am planning on buying a frame with premium currency to support the dev team so suggestions are open. I might even put a video out to allow people to vote
@@Water_elemental33 I would recommend buying a frame that is difficult to farm and also doesn't have a prime version. Prime warframes are stronger than their normal versions, and are fairly simple to farm and also easily bought from the trade chat at lower prices than their normal versions' prices in the ingame market. Unfortunately the primed warframes are currently mastery locked for you. Considering these limitations, I'd recommend Nidus. He's one of the more painful warframes to farm as his parts are a low-chance drop from a stressful gamemode. However, his kit is very well-rounded and can become incredibly potent, even when the enemies are much higher level than you.
Unfortunately in warframe, missions like these are common and repetitive; theyve done these missions hundreds of times before and know what to expect. Therefore many people just speedrun them as there isnt any point in actually exploring every corner. I'd be happy to record with you, play at your pace, and answer any questions you have on the fly. You can also ask your questions in the Region Chat; many people there are quite helpful.
That is a very good perspective and didn’t think how often level layouts and assets are used. I figure in a few months I will know enough to do the exact same thing haha I appreciate the offer to play but planning around getting other people on is very in flux with me right now. I don’t plan when I record and it’s usually a spur of the moment thing.
@@Water_elemental33I meant just send me a message in-game if you're feeling up for it, and if I happen to be online. I've sent a friend request. The friends menu is in esc > communications > friends. There, it tells you whether your friends are online or not, and from there you can also send messages and invite people to your party.
Oh god I feel dumb now. I forgot that was an option entirely when I was reading your comment. I am #1 best social gamer. I will accept your friend request and message you when I have questions :)
@@Water_elemental33No problem. I wasn't very clear in the first place. Happy to help :)
The only way to access archwing missions (such as the one on Earth) is to complete The Archwing quest, which is available in your codex or esc menu. If I'm not mistaken, the quest unlocks when you reach Mars. The Archwing Launcher in your foundry is something else; it even requires an archwing to function. The Launcher lets you use an archwing in the open worlds on Earth and Venus. If you want more viewers, I suggest doing quests. Quests are essential to progression and also gives you a direction to work towards in early game.
Yup that's the current plan. Between when this was recorded and now I have 4 episodes in the pipes. first one is focused on the Anniversary content, second is some Venus quests to get to Fortuna and the last are finishing Saya's Vigil What kind of got me into this rut was the number of popups and things trying to guide me to different areas of the game without a good plan on how to tackle it. During editing, I drove myself nuts with no plan of attack so I have a list taped to my wall next to my monitor for a list of quests and order of quests to do.
Get yer jet boards on Venus open world hub intro missions (meet the Vent Kids). But first, mount an archwing in your gear wheel and use that in the open worlds. And welcome back! :) Edit: on second thought, at MR2 Venus might be a little rough. Better to focus on opening up planets and buffing yourself by putting Endo into important mods. For your warframe, start with Vitality (health), and for weapons primary damage mods (like Serration on primary rifles).
I know this probably was already answered, it being a re-upload. The ghoul event is a reoccurring event in Warframe that happens like once a month. It gives rewards that are different to the normal bounties, as well as giving unique relics that can't be gained from anywhere else in the game. Thus, these events (there's another event on the plains and a few different ones in Fortuna/Orb Vallis) are farmed very often by people that either need the parts that are rewarded via the relics for their arsenal or for the platinum trading market. Also, it's very likely the squadmates had arch-wings, which made them move around faster across the plains.
Comcerning modding: Mods and mod slots have a 'polarity' denoted by a symbol at the top right of every mod and mod slot. Matching a mod polarity to the slot's polarity reduces the mod's drain by half, and therefore allows you to fit more mods on. Matched polarities turn green when you insert the mod. If you stick a mod into a slot with mismatched polarities, the drain increases instead. Mods in an unpolarized slot - slots without a symbol - have normal drain. Increasing Impact/Puncture/Slash damages on weapons is inefficient and shouldn't be done unless in very very very specific circumstances. You get more damage from increasing the weapon's base damage using mods like Serration, Hornet Strike, and Pressure Point. Adding elemental damage onto your weapon also works well; you had a mod that adds electric damage to the sniper rifle. The go-to stats to increase listed in descending importance are: base damage > multishot > elemental damage. Crit Chance and Crit Damage are also extremely powerful, but this combination requires an adequately high base Crit Chance on the weapon. Same with Status chance. Mods that boost dps are generally the go-to while usability is covered by the weapon. Fire rate and Reload speed mods are niche. Warframe modding is a lot more dynamic, so I won't bother. For early game, base health, shield max, and shield regen will keep you alive. Armor also helps if you have nothing else. Avoid the specific damage type resistance mods in general; you won't encounter those damage types 'til midgame, and by then there are better alternatives. You can also rank-up mods by fusing Endo and Credits into them. This is done in esc>equipment>mods>fuse. Fusing a mod increase the stats of the mod but also increases the mod's drain. However, it's still more efficient to use a single high-ranked mod than multiple low or unranked mods. Mods are essential in progressing and getting more powerful. The warframes and weapons provide the base abilities and stats, but it's the mods that takes those aspects to new heights. I don't know if return characters on mobile formats correctly, so this may or maynot be a massive single paragraph.
Ughhh 2020 and I just bought this game on my mac smfh smfh I'm so fucking sad
Heyo we're back, also you gotta love when RUclips doesnt tell people when you upload even when the bell is at all, I lived the Runeterra vids and I enjoyed this as usual. Second congratz on the new job man, take your time with things, we'll be here when you can upload! To answer your question personally I wouldnt mind you talking about things in life and your opinions on gaming stuff or movies. Just stuff you enjoy doing and stuff. Other than that I hope Warframe has pulled you in.
Its me ya boi. Affinity is the xp you get from killing enemies, completing objectiveds amoung other things. It increases the rank of your warframes and weapons. Increasing warframe rank unlocks more warframe abilities and also increases the ability's base stats. Ranking up warframes and weapons also increases their Mod Capacity, which will allow you to fit more mods into your frames and weapons, making them stronger. Stealth Affinity Bonus just increases the rate that you accumilate affinity.
Late, but better than never I am back to spout wisdom upon this video's comment section!!! Alright we got a few things we're going to go through. Sabotage Caches, Earth Plants, Frost, Ember, and Trinity. Sabotage Caches: So I saw that you read the comment about the Defense mission (or horde mode) and not opting back in so I'll skip that, but in short Sabotage caches are just little extra side containers that give extra loot. Later missions will have them drop more unique things but in most cases they aren't worth going for. They make a noise to specify that they are special, in fact you heard it a few times, the best case is at 17:08 and hell I've been playing this game for 4 years and i forgot how to get into that room. They're like the lockers with green and red on them except slightly bigger, make that noise, and are glowing white. That's about it. Earth Plants: Remember the scanners you got, well there are many ways to use them and there are different kinds. The best one is the simaris scanner which you'll get fairly soon. One use for these scanners is to scan wildlife on earth to collect a sample of them to use in blueprints. Most importantly for the Silver Grove Quest which I suggest when you're on Earth Scan as many plants as you can. In general scan all of the things including enemies. A Helios sentinel can automatically do that for you in some cases but, that's later and a bit expensive. Frost: Big Icy boi, he does ice and shiz. I see you're acquainted with his first 3 abilities and the 4th one is starting to pop out to say hi. Well I'm here to explain what they do to a degree. You already can see what his 1st does and it does things great, but did you know you can explode your snowglobes with your 1st ability? You can place down a globe and explode whenever you want just by using your 1st on it. IMO it's good for clean up since the health on them kinda overlap in the UI. You already know about his 2nd and that it shoots a wave of Ice out, it's good for low level clearing and general fun shenanigans. His bread and butter 3rd ability allows him to put a big dome over the area, this next part is important for where you place these things. You can shoot from the inside out, but you cant shoot from the outside in. It's courtesy to place it over the pod in defense missions and in a corner of a room you're all surviving in in survival, but explosive weapons can be a hindrance to those playing with a frost if not extremely careful, especially with frosts who's energy colors make the globe almost invisible. His final ability Is avalanche. To all enemies inside the range of this ability will be frozen for a time being and dependent on the power strength of the build can strip the armor off of an opponent while frozen, not just that but frozen opponents take extra damage and lose the ability to be proc'd by status affects. Other than that it is a great ability and a mainstay for Frost users, just watch the energy cost. Ember: The complete antithesis of Frost, Ember is the heat girl... she's hot... and sh- you know that sounded alot better in my head. She's the frame that can flame and everybody knows her name. Her 1st ability is litterally Frosts first except a fire ball with other unique twists on it that don't matter too much in the grand scheme of things. Her 2nd is called Immolation. She gains a sort of Flame armor that lowers the amount of damage she takes, the more power strength one has, the more damage reduction you'll have. Also the bar on the right his her HEAT level, that level will dictate how much damage her abilities will do. She passively gathers heat but if she casts her 1st and 4th she'll gain more heat generation per second, her fourth generating more HEAT than her 1st. Her 3rd ability is Fire Blast. She sends a wave of fire out hitting enemies and setting them on fire. The more HEAT she has the more damage she does with it as well as how much armor she strips off of enemies on cast. She also loses a bit of HEAT and HEAT generation. Her 4th and final is called Inferno. She rains meteors from the sky to hit enemies with setting them on fire if they dont die from it as well as if they run into other enemies while on fire they'll spread the carnage. All of this fire comes back to her passive which is that the more enemies that are on fire, the more power strength you are given to make your abilities even stronger. Trinity: she's "support" the warframe in every sence of the word. Her 1st heals an enemy and lifts them up Into the air suspending them for your allies. Now why would a support frame heal enemies you say? Well it's for other to hit to regain health. They melee hit it to regen health... there's a problem with this and I'll explain later. Her 2nd ability is Energy Vampire. She casts it on an enemy and 4 pulses of energy shoots out of them, damaging the enemy and giving energy to allies in range and sight of the enemy being affected. It's stupid good. By the by negative power duration is almost necessary for this ability to be overpowered. Her 3rd is called Link, she links to enemies to redirect the damage she takes to the enemies she is linked to all the while giving her damage reduction. Pretty simple. Her final ability is why nobody user her 1st ability. Blessing... with minimal power strength she fully heals allies' shields, health, and on top of that gives damage reduction based on how much health they lost, the minimum being 75%. Now anyone with a brain can see why in gods name would you use her 1st ability. Other than that that's about it, her passive is just extra fast reviving from a farther distance. Nicknamed energy mama, lure mama, heal mama. She's the game's second mama.
Cool man. I hope you don't mind if I spam you some basic info below... I recommend you bookmark the wiki that makes up for lack of in-game hand holding. That is generally your first stop, especially for questions like where to farm this or that, or details about a specific mechanic. warframe.fandom.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki Defense missions: protect the health of a defense object (that cryopod in the middle) over sets of 5 hoard waves. If it loses all health you fail the mission. If you succeed the first 5, but fail in the next, you fail the mission. The frost snow globe is good at defending people and objects within from gun fire (this infected enemy faction is melee only however) and can slow enemies, but also blocks teammates from shooting through or into from the outside. You can shoot out, but not in or through. So be careful where you place them to not block teammates line of fire and remove them when not needed. In the case of infested, the bubble doesn't help that much. You can burst a frost bubble from outside with your first ability for an AOE burst of cold damage and to delete it. Also you can deploy the bubble offensively as it shoves enemies back pretty hard when you cast it. You can knock them into a wall which generally kills them after a couple hits because it also freezes enemies. When you placed the bubble at that incoming path position, you blocked your team from being able to shoot through it. It slowed the enemies but also blocked fire from the outside. You also could have popped the bubble as enemies go through it to apply the AOE cold damage burst, then the bubble doesn't sit there blocking for very long. For enemy factions that shoot at you, the bubble is awesome to prevent damage for both you and the defense objective. warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Frost#Abilities At the end of 5 waves of defense, everyone votes on leaving or staying for another 5 rounds. Click the right large box to stay, left large box to leave. We saw your team all click to the right very quickly, indicating they all wanted to keep going. Not clicking forces the team to wait until it times out waiting for your response, which it will then assume you want to stay in the mission for another 5 waves. If the other players click left to leave, and you don't click or click right, then you will be soloing the next 5 waves. In your case at end of wave 5, the whole team was waiting for your response, but you last minute accidentally clicked on the left side which caused you to leave mission -- the opposite of what you intended. So they went on with just 3 players without you. Stay longer for higher rewards and tougher enemies. warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Defense Sabotage mission; (sometimes with the option of finding up to 3 hidden caches). Basically just follow the waypoints, watch upper left of screen which shows you your current goals, and sabotage as described. These missions will sometimes be taken slowly if players are trying to find the caches (sort of a treasure hunt) although if I want to search for them I will usually put it on solo mode or prearrange with a team, because most random players won't want to spend the time searching. These caches generate a ringing sound that you can hear when nearby, helping you to find them and they can provide nicer than average loot. You don't have to find them to succeed with the mission, but to succeed you must perform the sabotage tasks. These grineer caches look like the normal phone booth size loot containers but with a white circle instead of red or green, and they make the ringing sound. warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Sabotage You can stealth kill an enemy with X if they are not alerted, or if they have been CC'd with certain abilities that put them to sleep. If alerted, the X doesn't appear even if sneaking up behind them. The mini-map enemy icons describe which state they are in. I think there are three states -- unalerted (empty red triangle icon), alerted (triangle with something in middle), and aggressive (solid red icon). A mod called Enemy Sense (among others) can broaden the range of the minimap's detection, for example: warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Enemy_Sense To jump quite high, do your bullet jump while looking up where you want to go (or straight up to jump as high as you can). Bullet jumps respond to your aimed direction when jumping. You can prolong your flight back down using aim glide (aim down sights while in the air) or sliding in air (aka kicking) for some matrix slowdown action time. You can bullet jump into a double jump. Or, if you bullet jump but spam the jump key twice quickly, instead of bullet jumping into a double jump, you will do a forward flip jump, but that removes further double jumping until next jump. Roll or slide into the landing to preserve your momentum. Sliding into the lading perfectly sets you up for another bullet jump. You can do some physics defying stuff combining all this with your direction keys (ex: bullet jump forward into a backflip, then land with a side roll). Warframe's movement is a minigame in itself that you get better at over time, eventually feeling very powerful. Sometimes I will take newer players out to the plains of eidolon during the daytime just to practice in a wide area so they can learn to combine bullet jumping, double jumping, aim gliding, and rolling into meaningful movement habits. Have fun!
I love how you completely ignored the dark flashing and the "fifth" member of your squad in the defense mission. In the defense mission, if you don't make a selection, it'll default you into leaving. The "Grineer Cache" are specific lockers, not just any standard ones.
You got a time stamp on the flashing dark flashing? I didn't see that even during my two passes in editing, I also didn't relies those images were massive buttons to continue and figured if I wait I could just continue the fight lol.
4:31 That dark flash. It's a signal in game to signify that the Stalker is showing up (it happens three times before he actually shows up). The Stalker only "marks" you if you've killed a boss three times. Like, Capt Vor, if you kill him three times, you'll be "marked" by the Stalker. However, if you go and kill Capt Vor twice and then go kill another boss twice, you won't be marked, but if you go and kill either Vor or the other boss again, you'll be marked. The most often you're "marked", the higher the chances of Stalker appearing. And he gets stronger each time he's beaten. Stalker is an enemy "death squad" (there's several in the game) that has dealings with you in the past, which is revealed in the codex if he's been scanned several times (via Codex Scanners or the superior Synthesis Scanner). Stalker, which is the version new players run into, is rather easy to deal with, but looks like an Excalibur with a different head, resulting in some possible confusion by new players. Shadow Stalker, which is the version the squad fought while you were talking about soft/hard currencies is an upgraded version of the normal Stalker. He's literally just Stalker with upgrades that he got via story events. Every Death Squad has drops, so most players want to attract them, either via Beacons (Beacons force an "invasion" by the corresponding Death Squad) or by having been marked several times.
@@Practitioner_of_Diogenes That to me looked like an animation flicker when I passed though the snowglobe effect. I did not correlate that to any event trigger or creature spawn. To even see it I had to watch the video in my editor and go frame by frame from your timestamp to even see it. IMHO If I saw that in a game I worked on it would be bugged as poor design, but hey good to know its a thing!

Where did I get my info? From literally playing the game for six years.
To answer the question. Mesa.
Considering you've completed the main tutorial, I'd suggest getting rid of the flawed/broken mods you've gotten during the tutorial. Though, those were the only time you'd have gotten those versions of mods. Flawed mods are cheaper in mod capacity but are MUCH weaker than the standard versions.
